Capital Building Fund

In the 1990’s Sandy and Annie Campbell were one of the financial supporters for the building of our present hospital.  Their donation, in honor of their parents, was made because they believed in the value of a community hospital.  They continue to appreciate and value the hospital and also understand the need for upgrades and expansions.  As talks resumed with NS Health Authority in 2019 about our hospital's new requirements Sandy and Annie began talking to the Foundation about starting a Capital Fund.  To secure future needs they felt it was important to financially donate to and publicly promote a Capital Fund for our hospital.   With an overall donation of $200,000 by Sandy and Annie a solid foundation for the Capital Fund was established. 

As an ongoing fundraiser for the Capital Fund Sandy and Annie, through their company Proof Positive Coins Ltd, offered a catalogue, Cornerstone Collection, for sale.  The profits from the sale of the catalogue are donated to the Foundation for the Capital Fund.   These catalogues are available through the Proof Positive Coins Ltd. website. 

Sandy and Annie avidly support fundraisers for the Hospital Foundation and hope the foresight to donate for the needs of the future will be embraced by individuals, families, businesses and corporations.
